With the development of science and technology, the use of NC machine tools are more and more common, the development of NC technology is the only way to machinery manufacturing industry. Embedded system is a software and hardware system that can be trimmed, it can be processed in accordance with the different needs of different systems. High-performance, low-cost DSP as the control core, it design for NC machine tools with better performance and lower price. Using this type of DSP in the control of digital control system and algorithm to update and the changes in the structure have a lot of flexibility, often only to make adjustments on software necessary. As the advantages of speed of DSP, improve the quality of NC system. Using high-speed DSP real-time control algorithms to achieve high-precision multi-axis servo control has become trend of the 21st century.In the paper, the author analyzes the NC system at home and abroad of the status and trends of development, discussing the flexibility and stability of embedded NC system, comparing the use of the NC system based on DSP and the use of CNC system in performance, analyzing the hardware environment of the DSP NC system and the main reactive module, studying the compensation algorithm of the tool in detail and applying the tool radius compensation algorithm in the NC system based on DSP and working out samples. NC tool compensation processing CNC software module is an important function, which refers to the tool path planning, tool geometry and processing parameters of the compensation logic design. Tool compensation is a job preparation before interpolation. Compensation through the cutter compensation will change outline to cutter center path. Tool compensation is divided into tool length compensation, fixture offset compensation and tool radius compensation, tool compensation algorithm in this article is mainly based on the tool radius compensation. Tool radius compensation algorithm is divided into B and C algorithm, B algorithm is easier to achieve, but the switching angle is hard to deal with, leading to low quality of the work piece and it is difficult to achieve the requirements of designers, C algorithm is more complicated to achieve but switching angle is rich, the work piece is more to meet the requirements of the designer. This paper is mainly based on the C cutter compensation of the two-dimensional and three-dimensional tool radius compensation algorithm, and applied to DSP based on TI's TMS320F2812 chip three-axis CNC milling machine system to achieve the target of processing graphics. Basically meet the needs of the physical processing of the targets set.
