In the ceramic industry the burning technical is the key technical, and the temperature control method is the key method in the burning regime. The optimization of temperature uniformity discussed in the thesis aim to enhance the performance of ceramic roller kiln via changing the design parameters of ceramic roller kiln. In the whole process we work with the combination of uniform design, Computational Fluid Dynamic tools and Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm, which make sure that in each step we perform the scientific way.The CFD Computational Dynamic tool are used in the thesis for the model building, and the samples are selected by the uniform design, and the ceramic roller kiln structure optimization design is carried by the particle swarm optimization. The whole process in the thesis is listed as follows:1. Build the ceramic roller kiln model, generate mesh by the CFD numerical computational software, choose the correct turbulent flow model, radiation model, combustion reaction model and other parameters setting2. The uniform design theory is used as the basic principle of sample selecting method in the thesis. The uniform design can reflect the main characteristics of the system. By the mean of uniform design we can learn the law which influences the modeling through the limited numbers of experiments and at the same time this law can be transformed into mathematical model.3. The experiment results are analyzed by regression analysis, then the regression equation is basically fitted. At last we carry on the significance test for the regression equation and parameters in the equation and cull the non significant parameter in the regression equation, in this way we make the equation more clear.4. In the optimization aspect, we adopt the PSO algorithm as global optimization. First of all, the PSO algorithm as one of swarm optimization algorithm is more suitable for parallelization. In the second place the PSO algorithm is a well developed approach, which has a variety of implementation. We can change its parameter to enhance its global or local capability. We implement MPI as the parallel environment of the particle swarm optimization algorithm, and do primary performance evaluation of the parallel algorithm.The innovation in the thesis is that we take into consideration of whole factors that impact the ceramic roller kiln temperature uniformity, adopt uniform design, computational fluid dynamic tool and modern optimization algorithm. In this way we can overcome the fault of traditional ceramic design methods, probably enhance the ceramic roller kiln design scientific value, reduce the ceramic roller kiln design cycle and accelerate the pace of ceramic roller kiln modernization in the ceramic industry.
