CdS semiconductive nanomaterial exihibit lots of novel and amazing propreties deriving from their effects such as quantum size,surface and nonlinear optics,which give rise to their potential use in the fields of chemistry and physics,as well as other areas.Nanocomposite materials provide further opportunities for synergizing properties because they can elicit new functional properties such as different optical properties,thermal stability,or chemical reactivity due to the combination of different material systems on the nanometer length scale.CdS nanocomposites were successfully prepared in situ by reacting Cd2+ with H2S and N,N'-dibutyl thiourea(DBTU) which were produced from the reaction of n-butyl amine with carbon disulfide.FTIR,TG and EDX characterizations indicated the organic compound was DBTU,and the robust interaction between CdS nanocrystals and the DB(?) hexagonal phase CdS was revealed by XRD and HRTEM.The blue shift of absorption in UV-vis displayed the effect of quantum size.SEM and HRTEM sh(?) the wirelike CdS nanocomposite with diameter of 70-300nm and length o(?) a few micrometers,which were composed by CdS nanoclusters with diameter ca.tens of nanometer.A possible mechanism is inferred from different synthetic routs.The PL measurement shows a distinct increasing shoulder at 470nm and decreasing of the low-energy fluorescence at 500-700nm for CdS/DBTU nanocomposite,compared with CdS and the mixtures which was prepared by mixing physically CdS and DBTU,which is attributed to CdS nanocrystallite surface modified and surface chemical couplings between CdS nanoparticles and DBTU.A series of CdS nanocomposite were successfully prepared in situ by liquid phase deposition process,through reacting CS2 with monoamine(allyamine, allylalcoholamine,ethanolamine,aniline,anti-aminophenol,ortho-aminophenol, anti-aminobenzoic,2-aminopyridine,naphthylamine,polystyryl-allylamine). XRD,UV-vis,SEM and FT-IR showed that a series of CdS nanocomposite were obtained.The PL measurement shows that a strong excitonic emission of CdS crystyl excitation state recombination with a photoluminescence spectrum is observed because of surface modification effect of-OH in ethanol amine and -COOH in anti-aminobenzoic CdS/polystyryl-allylthiourea nanocomposite was emphatically studied.
