The synthesis and anticoagulation property of poly (lacticacid) /TiO2 hybrid material was studied in this paper.The polylactic acid (PLA)was prepared from lactic acid with stannous octoate as the catalyst; Using tetrabutyl titanate (TBT) and PLA as the raw materials, the PLA/TiO2 was synthesized by sol-gel method. The relative result products were characterized by FT-IR, XPS. The results show that hybrid reaction was occurred between PLA and TiO2 sol resulting in forming Ti-O-C bonds. Compared with pure PLA, the anticoagulation property has been improved because of the introduction of TiO2 and the best content of TiO2 is 4 wt %.PLA/TiO2 hybrid material doped with Sm was prepared by the introduction of Sm during the preparation process. The anticoagulation property of hybrid material increases with increase the content of Sm and reached the maximum value for 0.6 wt % TiO2, and then decreases.
