The pipeline system is an important implement for energy exchange and transportation,which is more and more used in petroleum and chemical industry etc.,especially in transportation project of petroleum and natural gas.However, industrial pipelines are often used under ill conditions and have to endure kinds of pressure,weight and corrosion.These can engender defects and result in accidents. So it is necessary to detect and diagnose pipelines regularly or irregularly,and make sure of the safe operation of pipelines system.Technology of Non Destructive Testing(NDT) is in common use in pipeline inspection industry.It can check the pipeline for internal or surface defections,as well as capability,textural status and physical quality of pipelines.Among kinds of methods of NDT technology,magnetic flux leakageinspection has been widely applied by virtue of its quick speed,high sensitivity and lower requirement of workpiece surface status etc.At present,pipeline inspection technology is still in the analog technique phase.It is complicated to design and difficult to debug analog signals processing circuits.And in the process of signal treatment and transmission,it is easy to form the accumulation of noise which does harm to pipe inspection.Thus,we need to research digital pipeline inspection technology.Digital Signals Processing technology is progressing with the development of computer and electronic technology.With its obvious superiority,such as quick speed,high precision,stable and reliable output etc.,it is broadly used in communications,industrial control, graphics and images and other fields.This article combines pipeline detection with digital signal processing,and develop analog pipeline inspection technology to digital pipeline inspection technology.First of all,the article presents the significance of pipeline inspection. By comparing the different methods of the common Non-destructive testing technologies,we choose magnetic flux leakage testing at last.Then the development of magnetic flux leakage testing and DSP technology is introduced,as well as related theory of the two dimensions magnetic flux leakage testing and structure of pipeline MFL detecting equipment.We filter and amplify the sixteen passages of defection signals,and design circuit schematic diagram with protel pcb software.After that DSP system is designed to complete the acquisition and processing of defection signals.At last,we validates the validity and reliability of the detecting system by experiments.
