CNC machine tools are increasingly becoming the basis of modern manufacture equipment for its high efficiency and high-precision processing characteristics. According to CNC technology as the core of the CNC system assembly and the level of manufacture have became the symbol of the country's manufacture.This subject is based on Siemens SINUMERIK 810D CNC system and researched on transformation of DPS1800 CNC Horizontal Lathe, combined with the machine tool numerical control system analysed Lathe's parameters and settings. According to the characteristics of Siemens 810D CNC system and requirements of the original machine, while based on retaining the original features of the machine and transformed their machinery, electrification to meet the processing requirements. At the same time, through analysed theoretical principle of CNC servo system, simplified the closed-loop system, established a mathematical model of the control system. Based on the principle of auto control theory and determined the parameters which impacted stability of the system, by adjusting the parameters to improve system performance, optimized and configured the parameters of servo drive system to meet the requirements of machine tool control system. Solved the system spindle vibration when start up in the large-reduction-ratio, heavy-load, ultra-low-speed, while through the Siemens SINUMERIK 810D CNC lathe to achieve a precise processing functions of the spindle C-axis indexing. Application of computer simulation software MATLAB, simulated the characteristics of in time domain and frequency domain which depended on high-ranks control system of differential equations, determined the parameters which impact on system stability. Provide a certain foundation research of high-ranks systems stability for the future.Through a period of actual production, the machine tools operated stable and reliable, and high accuracy. The transformation of the original machine tools makes the expansion of process capacity as well as providing a useful reference for the future.
