Design And Development Of Production Planning System Of Clothing Products Based On The Order

China is the largest producer and consumer of clothing in the world, and therapid development of clothing industry have greatly promoted the development ofour national economy. With the rapid development of market, production modefacing the order has gradually become the main production mode of clothingindustry. Enterprise information is the key of the clothing enterprise to survive anddevelop. And only with the continuing standardization and information, theclothing enterprise could face the fierce market competition. The application ofmanagement information system will also bring economic benefits and long-termdevelopment to small and medium-sized enterprises.The topic of the thesis is from a development project about productionmanagement information system which is from Ocean Garment Co., Ltd, Foshancity, Guangdong province. The main work of this thesis is to develop a productionplanning system which is suit to the production characteristics of the enterprisebased on the actual production of the enterprise. Through the system the productionplan can be formulated and scheduled, the progress can be controlled so that theproduction plan can be finished accurately and in time among the differentproduction departments.The present situation of the information development of the clothingenterprise and the problems it facing were discussed first based on the investigationin the enterprise. In view of the production characteristics of order type clothingenterprise, the functional requirement of the system was analyzed, and theframework and model of the system were established with UML modeling tools. Onthe basis of requirement analysis, the system was modularized with theobject-oriented design method according to the goal and principle of the systemdesign. Then the functional design of each module and the database design of thesystem were completed. The layout and the scheduling of the production plan of theorder, the setting of the system permissions, the design of the report forms andother key issues in the design process of the system were analyzed next. The realization of each modular of the system was introduced in detail finally.The production planning system works well in the enterprise. It meets therequirements of the formulation of the production planning and the management ofthe production, and improves the production efficiency and the comprehensivecompetitive power. The results also prove that it is necessary for the enterprise toconduct information management.
