Research On The Space-time Distribution Of Xuzhou Area's Natural Calamities In Qing Dynasty

This paper is mainly on the natural calamities that took place in Xuzhou area in Qing Dynasty.The purpose is to clear up the space-time distribution situations of natural calamities in Xuzhou area in Qing Dynasty,hoping to discover the regularity of natural calamities on space-time distribution,and then to offer historical reference for us to take measures against natural calamities.The paper has five chapters:The first chapter introduces the reasons why I choose this topic and summarizes the research achievements of the natural calamities of Xuzhou area in Qing Dynasty.The second chapter collects and arranges the history data of natural calamities.The third chapter is about the time distribution situations of the natural calamities.In the first part,the yearly distribution table is important,the discussion of the situation of the calamity annual occasion distribution is spread out on the foundation of it.In the discussion of the yearly distribution situation,there are single calamity and overall calamity analysis.At the same time,the occurrence of the calamities is analyzed and counted according to a year for thirty years.The result is distinct:the climax of Xuzhou area's natural calamity in Qing Dynasty is in its later stage.In the second part,the charts show us a clear discription of the distribution of the natural calamities among each month,there is clear regularity:Besides the earthquake,other calamities are distributed in certain months of the year;there is a positive relationship between the flood disaster and the drought disaster and there is a negative relationship among the drought disaster,the locust disaster,the wind disaster and the hail disaster.The 4th chapter is about the space distribution situations of the natural calamities.In the first part,beginning from the area distribution of single calamity,we get the space distribution of main natural calamities.In the second part,beginning from the area distribution of overall calamity,we get the space distribution of it:Almost all of the natural calamities occurred in Pei County and Suqian County;the next is Tongshan County,Pizhou and Suining County;Feng County and Xuzhou are the last.The 5th chapter is this paper's conclusion and discussion.
