Research On Natural Disasters In Fujian Region During Qing Dynasty

According to chorography,other literature and predecessors' research achievements,the paper roundly analyses the distribution traits and laws of time and space on the six natural disastars,mainly including floods,droughts,earthquakes,tidewater disastars,windstorms,plagues,with the Qing Dynasty's two hundred and sixty eight years history as the longitude and the Fujian Region as the woof, in the viewpoint of historical natural geography. The research may contribute to the historical research as well as to the social and economic development and to avoiding and relieving the damage caused by these disasters .It should be stated that the Fujian Region doesn't include Taiwan and the concept takes the contemprary Fujian province as standard.
