Air-distribution IS one of the main factors affecting the efficiency of ESP.Present research and practical application show that efficiency of ESP adapting SGFT is higher than the uniform one.The paper studies that to install guiding plates on flow distribution board in the inlet box of ESP made the achievement of SGFT.Then adjust the angle, spacing or number of plates to change flow-pattern.Simulate 3d SGFT by FLUENT. Simulated results show:to install different parameter plates can form skewed gas flow; the simulated and experimental data of adding plates on second and third distribution board is basically same;the plates with 504mm spacing and 55°angle could form better skewed gas flow;the fairly ideal skewed gas flow would be made when only install plates on third board,have 400mm interval and 55°angle,add a distribution board with 50%opening ratio at the outlet of last electrical field,and let center line of outlet box higher than inlet one 2m.In addition,paper also study the formed level of skewed gas flow.All of these provide reference and foundation for the design and running of ESP using skewed gas flow.
