In recent years, the wetlands which known as a "kidney of the Earth", its ecological environment and the importance of the specificity of great concern throughout the world, the research of wetlands has become a hot international research field. Wetlands have a variety of ecological functions as economic and social values of human existence and development of valuable natural resources and living environment, the reduced wetlands was caused by human beings of unreasonable use, and wetland ecosystems have been seriously affected and threats. Therefore, the grasp of the number of wetland resources, current situation and its changes were greatly significant for reseanable using and Protection of wetlands. In this study, the western Altai mountain wetland studies in the field investigation on the basis of the study area in 1990 TM and 2000 ETM + remote sensing data, combined with related data and statistics topics, the establishment of wetlands in the study area to interpret the classification of signs using human-computer interactive method of extraction of thematic information, for remote sensing image classification. After classification, the method of dynamic monitoring of wetlands statistical properties of information, through the analysis of the dynamic change of wetland-related indicators revealed the western Altai mountain dynamic changes in the trend of wetlands, an analysis of the impact of the western Altai mountain wetlands of the driving forces of dynamic change. The results show that: The wetland area reduced from, 532.59km2 in 1990 to 462.43km2 in 2000,11 year Chinese Communist Party reduces 70.16 km2, the average decline rate has reached -1.20%, obviously, the research area wetland presented the atrophy degeneration tendency. The western Altai mountain wetlands natural and man-made factor in the dual role, the emergence of the wetlands with varying degrees of fragmentation; in that the dynamic change of wetlands based on the parameters, from the temperature, precipitation and evaporation and other natural factors, the total population arable land area and number of Livestock and other man-made factor in the search for the role of the main factor. Man-made factor in the number of offerings, with more changes in the effects of grazing have been the most obvious. Study on dynamic change of wetlands in the natural factors and human factors in space and time scale of the result of interaction, different types of wetland resources on the role of changes in the way, is not the same as the scope and intensity, the different wetland types, the dynamic changes affecting the main reason for the difference great. Analysis of the reasons for the dynamic change of wetlands, wetlands reduce the draw of the main reasons are: the average annual temperature increase, the annual decline in rainfall, increased evaporation in wetlands over the development and utilization of resources and so on.Finally, the actual situation in the study area, made the western Altai mountain wetland protection and sustainable use of the recommendations.
