Studies On The Preparation Technology Of Soluble Easily Zanthoxylum Oil Microcapsule

Zanthoxylum belongs to the kind of Rutaceae Zanthoxylum L.The chemical compounds are alkaloids,alkylamides,neolignans,volatile oil,coumarin and so on.Alkylamides are main numb-taste components and volatile oil is main aroma components.Kneading method,spray-drying and Vacuum freezen- drying were used to prepare the Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule respectively.The various factors that had effects on the microencapsulation of Zanthoxylum oilincluding selection of wall materials,proportion of white spirit,formulation of compound wall materials,ratio of core material and wall material,solid consistency,proportion of emulsifier and temperature of entering wind were systematically studied. The formulationof the microencapsulated products and the technology condition were optimized by orthogonal experiments.Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM),infra-Red Spectrum and gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer(GC-MS) were used to study on quality of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule.Stability and hygroscopicity of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule were also researched.The result showed as follows:(1)The optimal parameters of microcapsule are studied.The best parameters of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule about kneading method were as follows:Ratio of core material and wall material was 1/20,The percentage of A in wall material was 25%,Ratio of core material and white spirit was 1/2.5,Kneading time was 2 hours.Base on the best parameters,ratio of microencapsulation was 88.4%,solubility was 96.8%.The best parameters of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule about spray-drying were as follows:Ratio of gumarabic,A and B was 1/1/3,Ratio of core material and wall material was 1/6,Solid consistency was 25%,Time of high speed emulsifying was 15 minutes,HLB was 12.2,Proportion of emulsifier was 0.6%.Base on the best parameters,ratio of microencapsulation was 86.1%,solubility was 93.3%.The best parameters of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule about Vacuum freezen-drying were as follows:Preparation of emulsified mixture was same as spray-drying.Freezing temperature was-25℃.Thickness of materials is 4mm.Time of drying was 10 hours.Base on the best parameters,ratio of microencapsulation was 81.6%,solubility was 95.8%.According to GB/T18738-2006,the microcapsules had a character of easy dissolve and were instant produces.(2) The microstructure of microencapsules with different preparation methods were investigated bymeans of SEM.The microstructure of microencapsule about spray-drying was rounding,smooth and a few of hollow.Because of Kneading,the microstructure of microencapsule about Kneading method and Vacuum freezen- drying were irregular shape.(3) The Infra-red spectroscopy curve of the most compound was unique.The Infra-red spectroscopy curve of microencapsules proved totally embed.Because absorption peak were differ from Zanthoxylum oil.(4) Gaschromatograph-mass spectrometer(GC-MS) proved that the main volatility constitute of microencapsules were little change from to Zanthoxylum Oleoresin.The main aroma constitute of Zanthoxylum Oleoresin and Zanthoxylum microencapsule included Linalool,β-Phellandrene,β-Myrcene,α-Terpineol,Limonene,Thujone,Carene,γ-Terpinene,1-Terpinen-4-ol,Nerolidol,Garyophyllene and so on.The content of Linalool was maximum.The volatility constitute of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule about Vacuum freezen- drying was similar for Zanthoxylum Oleoresin.(5) Stability and hygroscopicity of Zanthoxylum Oleoresin and microencapsules were studied.The results indicated that,stability of microencapsules was better than Zanthoxylum Oleoresin.Hygroscopicity of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule increased obviously on the First Day and balance on the s econd Day Hygroscopicity of Zanthoxylum oil microcapsule about Vacuum freezen- drying was 6.05%,which the most than other microcapsules.
