The different-speed mixer is a new type and high efficiency and all phase double horizontal shaft mixer, which has strong ability of smashing and oneself cleaning and corrosion resisting. The different-speed mixer can continually broken materials during the course of mixing, so it can well resolve the problem in the high viscosity material stirring and mixing. However, with the different-speed mixer being high power and high capacity, a series of problems was found, such as: unstable, lower efficiency, and fatigability, etc, which limit the extensive use of the different-speed mixer. To all the questions, this paper had a number of studies on parameter optimization, dynamics and fatigue analysis, flow field simulation; the main works are as follows:First, the shape of the screw flight was simplified, and the suitable screw flight was obtained, which referred to the mathematics model of the movement of screw flight and the construction feature and working principle of the different-speed mixer.Second, in order to improve the stirring performance of the different-speed mixer, a number of construction parameters of different-speed mixer were optimized, such as: the screw flight angle of helix, the stirring device length-width ratio, the center distance of main shaft and cleaning shaft, etc.Third, the transient dynamic analysis of stirring shaft was performed. And the deformation and stress of all dangerous nodes were obtained at the action of fluid exciting force, which made the designer easily find the dynamic response. In addition, the results of transient dynamic analysis were used to the optimization of screw flight angle of helix.Fourth, the vibration performance of main shaft and cleaning shaft was analyzed theoretically. Meantime the model analysis was performed by ANSYS, and the inherent frequency and the mode of vibration of stirring shaft were obtained, which was used to verify whether the resonance of stirring shaft happen or not.Fifth, two ways of general theoretical analysis method and finite element method were all applied to calculate the fatigue life, and the two results were comparatively anglicized, which were used to verify the fatigue property of stirring shaft.Finally, with the numerical simulation of 3 dimension flow field of the different-speed mixer performed, the flow of liquid material has been simulated. And the simulated results were used to design the different-speed mixer perfectly.
