Firstly,optimum splitting condition of PTT/PA6 and PTT/PET composite microfiber was determined by orthogonal experiment in terms of decrement rate and splitting rate. The dyeing technics of PTT/PA6 and PTT/PET composite microfiber were studied.The original dyeing ratio of disperse dyes at different temperature,exaltation of dyes,the highest dyeing temperature,dyeing time and curve of dyeing rate were examined.The reason of the dyeing difference between different fibers was also discussed.The curve of dyeing rate of PTT/PA6 composite microfiber was made by using three kinds of disperse dyes and the optimum splitting condition of different kinds of dyes were determined.The experiment results were analyzed according to the dyeing theory.And the change of dyeing property before and after splitting of PTT/PA6 was deeply analyzed by using the individual fiber strength test instrument and the technique of DSC.Dyeing percentage of disperse dye can be measured using residue method by adding organic solvents such as acetone or DMF in the residue dyeing solution of disperse dyes to help disperse dyes dissolved.To rest on the linear correlation of the dye standard curve, the influences of organic solvent content are discussed.Results show that the test error is not very strong in its different concentration in the DMF method,acetone can also be used in the residue method,but its amount must be taken into account because it had bigger test sensitivity.Residue method generally is used in the study of dyeing mechanism;it may not be used in the determination of dyeing percentage after reduction clearing.We have carried out experiments on thermodynamics and kinetics of dyeing PET and PTT/PA6 and PET/PA6 composite microfiber and common PTT and PET fiber employing disperse red FB.Dyeing property of PTT/PA6 composite microfiber,another two microfibers(PET/PA6 Composite microfiber and PET microfiber) and two plyester fibiers (PET,PTT)were shown by the results of experimentation such as affinity of dyeing,heat of dyeing,entropy of dyeing,diffusion coefficient,half-dyeing time,constant of dyeing rate and so on.We analysd balance adsorbs of fiber in terms of component,linear density and temperature.At different dyeing temperatures,the two microfibers presentd L-N and Nernst absorptions models respectively.The absorption models of common PTT and PET fiber present mainly Nernst.The dyeing affinity of PTT/PA6 microfiber is higher than that of PET/PA6 microfibers.Due to the dyeing entropy change of the fiber is fairly bigger,the oriented dyeing degree of the dyestuff within the fiber is higher.Their dyeing enthalpy is also higher than that of the PET/PA6 microfiber,which meand their color fastness were better.
