Polybutylene succinate(PBS)has aliphatic polyester properties,small inter molecular action force,low melting point and poor thermal stability.Therefore,as a textile fiber,it is not suitable for high temperature treatment,dyeing and finishing must be carried out at lower temperature.For these issues,the purpose of this paper is to achieve low temperature dyeing of PBS fiber and fabric by developing low temperature dyeing promoter.By studying the related dyeing processes,dyeing kinetics and thermodynamics mechanism,etc.It provides a theoretical and practical basis for the dyeing and finishing of PBS fiber materials.The main research work of this paper includes three parts:(1)Development of a dyeing accelerator by optimizing the type of plasticizer and emulsifier,and regulating the concentration of emulsifiers,the speed and time of emulsification,etc.At the same time,by regulating the amount of dye accelerators,dyeing temperature and time and other factors,to optimize the low temperature dyeing process of PBS fibers,and study on the effect of dyeing promoter on the basic physical and chemical properties and dyeing properties of PBS fiber.(2)Take disperse red E-4B as an example,by drawing the constant temperature dyeing rate curve and equilibrium adsorption isotherm,and calculation of dyeing kinetic and thermodynamic constants,to study on dyeing kinetics and thermodynamics of PBS fiber.(3)Through the application of scanning electron microscope,bursting strength instrument,ultraviolet spectrophotometer,color matching instrument,friction color fastness tester,study on the physical and mechanical properties,acid and alkali resistance and dyeing properties of PBS knitted fabric.These results show that:(1)Diethyl succinate has a significant plasticizing effect on PBS fiber,can reduce the crystallinity of fiber,no obvious effect on thermal stability.The dosage of selected diethyl succinate is 20 m L/L,the dosage of 1227 is 4 g/L,emulsifying at 10000 r / min for 15 min,dyeing effect of the dye promoter is the best.When the dosage of dye promoter is 40 m L/L,the dyeing temperature is 70 ?,the dyeing time is 60 min,the p H is 4.5-5.0,the bath ratio is 1:50,the dye uptake of PBS fiber with three disperse dyes was over 90%.(2)The dyeing kinetic equation of disperse red E-4B on PBS fiber was in accordance with the quasi second order kinetic equation.In a dyeing bath with a dyeing promoter,the equilibrium adsorption capacity of disperse red E-4B on PBS fiber increased significantly,the dyeing rate and diffusion coefficient increased significantly,and the half dyeing time shortened.The dyeing of disperse red E-4B on PBS fiber was in accordance with Nernst adsorption isotherm,the partition coefficient and standard affinity increased with the increase of dyeing temperature or dyeing promoter.(3)When the temperature exceeds 90 ?,the surface morphology of PBS fiber was obviously destroyed,the fiber shrinks seriously,the weight loss rate of fabric is higher under alkaline condition,the bursting strength decreased obviously.In a dyeing bath with a dyeing promoter at90 ?,the dyeing effect of PBS knitted fabric is the best.After soaping instead of reducing cleaning,the color depth of fabric is higher,and the color fastness and rubbing fastness are better.
