Study On Automatic Detection System Of Log Volume Based On Embedding

In recent years, the log volume measuring, that is a research focus in domestics and abroad, has received a rapid development. It is a new research area for the engineering and technical personnel of wood enterprise. The development and application of log volume has obvious economic and social benefits for improve the utilization rate and achieve the fair trade. As the application filed of embedded type develop, embedded system has a widely application in industry control, smart home appliances and other fields. ARM slug received the regard and application with the advantage of high-performance, low power and low-cost. Moreover, the research of computer vision technology developed rapidly. Many developed countries have been did related research about it in forestry industry. In this paper, the writer designed the operating platform, based on the embedded system and computer software about image identify, software has received application, the automatism measuring of log volume processing system that based on embedded type was build. Through the information identify and handling of image, gained the approximation of timer volume with poor condition and circumstances. The results indicate that this embedded system satisfy the elementary need for veracity,efficiency and practicability of the log volume measuring.
