Hydroxyapatite(HA), as the main inorganic component of the hard tissues in bones and teeth, is widely studied and has been used in clinical application to fill or restore damaged human calcified tissue because of its excellent bioactivity, biocompatibility and nontoxicity. Increasing importance has been attached to preparation methods of nano-hydroxyapatite recently. But we still have many problems in study the preparation of hydroxyapatite. In this thsis, hydroxyapatite mamoparticles were synthesized by the reverse microemulsion method and the chemical precipitation method. TEM, XRD, IR were used to characterize the samples. The effect that was induced by the experiment parameter on the characterization of the nanoparticles has also been deeply researched.Hydroxyapatite nanoparticles that were synthesized by the neutralization with Ca(NO3)2·4H2O and (NH4)2HPO4 used as the reactants were in shape of short rods or needles. Calcium phosphate mamowires could be obtained in the reverse microemulsions of ionic surfactant , N-pentanol to cosurfactant , ammonia as a pH regulator prepared HA particles . The experimental results show that nano-HA particles increases with theωvalue of particle size, reation temperature, aging time, cosurfactant increases, and with the reactant concentration, pH values increase in decrease. The average size was 40-50nm in length and 15-20nm in diameter.these are all close to the human bone's structure. After calcined with 650℃, the length of the particles turned length, about 80-90nm, the diameter of the partiles turned wide ,about 20-25nm. And the experiment to study the various experimental conditions on the impact of the nano-HA particle size. The partiles synthesized by Ca(OH)2 and H3PO4 also looked like shore rods. The average size was 90-100nm in length and 20-25nm in diameter, and particle size uneven. Nano-HA particle size as the reaction temperature increases.
