The AC servo system is more and more widely used in industry application in the field of mechanical-electrical integration product with high requirement for position accuracy and dynamic response. The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) servo system of industry sewing machine which adopts the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) as the control core is one of the application of AC servo control digitization.The structural features of PMSM are introduced in this paper. The mathematic models in the corresponding coordinate system are set up also. Then the principle and implementation methods of vector control are described. At last the technology of Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) and its realization method with software are discussed.Based on the analysis of theory, the Field Oriented Control (FOC) strategy employing i_d=0 is chosen, the control scheme of PMSM servo system is established with three close-loop regulators. The control system model of simulation is set up by use of MATLAB/SIMULINK. The waveform of torque, angle, speed, current of three-phase stator are gained, the simulation results show that the control strategy is feasible.As a part of the industry sewing machine system, the control panel is important for the requirement of intelligent operation. This paper designs and makes up the control panel of industry sewing machine. The debugging results indicate which can meet the requirement of system.
