This paper elaborated the development history of rotor dynamics and the study range of active magnetic bearing-high speed rotor dynamics. Then discuss the structure, working principle and bearing characteristics of active magnetic bearing-rotor system.The natural frequency of rotor system supported a complet elastic bearing of used finite element and a variety of factors on the natural frequency of the rotor was analysised with finite element analysis software, based on the theory of five degrees of freedom magnetic bearing rotor system and rotor dynamics characteristics. The critical speed was solved with the method of finite element and Riccati Riccati transfer matrix, in the condition of the bearing was transformed and the damp was neglected. In rotor dynamic balance, adjust these critical rotational speeds, make it properly deviate from mechanical working rotational speed, to get reliable design.Then analysis the natural frequency and influencing factors of the five degrees of freedom active magnetic bearing-high speed rotor. Made harmonic analysis and transient analysis for the rotor by finite element method software after the the grinding wheel was imposed on grinding force, then reached the stress and displacement response of steady grinding time and initial grinding time separately. Initially determine the working stability of the rotor by analysising the displacement of the nodes on some dangerous cross-sections.
