Pruning is one of the most important and necessary step of cultivating plantation forest,tree pruning is good for quality and using efficiency of woods used for industry.To address the problem of unreasonable existing in feed mechanism in the tree's pruning machine with spiral movements,this paper do optimized design with the combination of connect baffle,limit pin and torsion spring and has done a study of the following aspects:1.Design five groups of connect baffle which have L tank with different angle,measure the torque which each connect baffle used to overcome the limit pin and the linear equation of angle(x) and torque(y)is y=-3.901x+428.9.2.Study on the role of connect baffle in the process of torsion spring forces using FEA,through the analysis we find that all strong stress concentration locations of connections baffle are on hole spacing and fixed hole,therefore,in actual use we do not have high demands in connection baffle material.3.Calculate torsion spring parameters of each connect baffle according to the torque measured in experiment,check torsion spring strength and process.4.Measure the actual torque of each combination using virtual instrument technology,through compare with the torque which need when design each connect baffle,and consider the impact of perspective on the stability of connect baffle when use,finally select the optimal combination.
