Mechanism research of nanometer TiO2 catalytic combustion to desulfurization and denitrification has been studied in this work in flue gas. From SO2 gas flow,O2 gas flow,combustion temperature and NO gas flow the effect to analysis pure CaO desulfurization were discussed by SO2 concentration of on-line monitoring. From reaction order and activation energy, referring to the former factor, we have verified the kinetic behavior of desulfurization can be described by unreacted shrinking reaction core model.The denitrification effect of coal char was discussed by coal and SO2 and combustion temperature. And it was verified that the coal reduction is better to fit the model .Finally the mechanisms were discussed by ion-chromatographic and BET analysis. The experiment results showed that unreacted shrinking core model was applicable to desulfurization denitration at the same time, nano-TiO2 had definite combustion catalytic effect to CaO combustion desulfurization and coal reduction denitrification, and nano- TiO2 had a promotion effect for desulfurization which was about 15%.
