Gas explosion,one of the most serious mine disasters,are serious endangering the lives of mining workers,and restraining the mining production. The complex underground work environment and the randomness of accidents bring about great difficulties to accident prevention,and therefore it is very necessary to control accidents with effective technologies,especially controlling gas explosion which will cause serious consequences and is less easily preventable has practical significance. At present,there is not any technique which can efficiently stop the gas explosion whether three explosion elements have been met. So it is greatly important to research and develop the new explosion suppressant for gas explosion disaster prevention and mitigation.In this paper, it overviews the domestic and external development of the explosion suppression technique of gas explosion in silo tunnel,explorates its principle and character. In this base this paper puts forward the theory of establishing pipeline experimental facility of fuel gas and dust and establishes an experiment rig of explosion suppression technique. This experiment explores explosion suppression performance of metal graticule through flightting chip's deformation.The result of experiments not only validated the feasibility of gas explosion experiment system in theory ,but also tested the control gas explosion capability and effect of material that we have selected .The result indicates metal explosion suppression graticule has significant containment against gas explosion and explosion wave.The building,debuging and applying of explosion experiment system and the success of the explosion suppression experiment provide a base for more studying on the gas explosion control materials and technologies.
