Study On Quality Control Of Edge Treatment In Panel Furniture

The dissertation takes the PVC and wood veneer edge treatment as the object of study, and studies deeply on edge treatment quality and its influencing factors, with the methods of statistical analysis and test. First, the paper researches on the evaluation method and standard for PVC edge treatment quality. Then finds out the main quality problems and their influencing factors, and establishes the quantitative relationship between them. Finally, analyzes the quality cost control of edge by putting quality grade, output and cost together.Through this research, we can draw a conclusion as follows:(1)Classify quality problems of the PVC and wood veneer edge treatment, and find out the main three quality problems. Research on three methods of quality inspection for PVC edge treatment quality: standard quality inspection, quality control chart of edge treatment process, sample control.(2)As for PVC edge, when speed changes during 18—28m/min, it has less effect on edge quality; As for wood veneer edge, when speed changes during 18—25m/min, it has a great effect on edge quality.(3)When the width of workpiece is at 100mm, it is the watershed of quality.(4)The best of allowance for edge band is 10—20mm, regardless of PVC edge or wood veneer edge, when the allowance of edge band is less than 10mm, the quality problems of edge began to increase. As for PVC edge, when the allowance of edge band is more than 70mm, the quality problems of edge also began to increase, as for wood veneer edge, it is 40mm.(5)As for PVC edge, the relations between quality cost of per meter and edge speed is y = -0.0592Ln(x) + 0.8001, R2 = 0.9937. The faster the speed is, the lower the quality cost of per meter is, so we advice to choose the higher edge speed. As for wood veneer edge, the relations between quality cost of per meter and edge speed is like a"V"development trend, so we advice to choose the medium edge speed. In all of the cost, material cost has the biggest percentage; equipment depreciation charge has the smallest percentage.
