Rotary cutting is one of the most widely used methods in round wood processing.Its main function is to cut the peeled and round logs into a certain thickness wood veneer by rotary cutting.Based on the cooperation with a wood processing machine factory,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the production of the original non-cartless rotary cutting equipment,analyzes the high-efficiency production flow between the rotary cutting process and wood veneer,and establishes the correlation model of the technological factors and the cutting speed model of the rotary cutting tool.By the method of orthogonal test,the influence weight of various technological factors on the thickness and evenness of wood veneer processing is analyzed,and the optimum process parameter combination of 0.5 mm thin plate processing is found by optimizing the machining process without clamping axis rotation.On the basis of this research and development of high-efficiency non-card cutting equipment for large-size homogeneous sheet wood processing technology to provide a certain technical support.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)According to the unstable thickness of wood veneer in the production of non-clamping rotary cutting equipment,combined with the particularity of the rotary cutting production mode,the principle and function of the workpiece and tool clamping mechanism inside the rotary cutting equipment are analyzed in detail,and the quality control method of wood veneer in rotary cutting is established,and the technology of non-clamping rotary cutting is optimized.(2)Through the analysis of rotary cutting process and wood veneer production process,the different technological factors affecting wood veneer thickness are found,the particularity of rotary cutting motion is analyzed,the correlation model of non-card-free rotary cutting process factors and the feed speed model of rotary cutter are established,and the influence mechanism of technological factors on wood veneer thickness and uniformity is analyzed.(3)By means of orthogonal test,the influence weight of different process factors on the thickness and evenness of wood veneer processing is analyzed,and according to the results of orthogonal test and the above theoretical analysis,the optimal process parameter combination of 0.5 mm thin plate processing is found,and the spinning cutting process without card is further optimized.(4)According to the requirements of the non-card axis rotary cutting process,combined with the production concept of automatic,high efficiency and low cost,the high efficiencynon-card axis rotary cutting equipment is developed on the basis of the design of mechanical body structure and the development of motion control control system,which provides certain technical support for the development of high efficiency processing technology of large size homogeneous sheet wood.
