With the rapid development of economic, the eco-environment problem is increasingly prominent, and becoming the one of the important factors of restricting our nation's modernization construction. How to make effectively scientific monitoring and assessment to the eco-environment of the area has become one of the problems to be settled urgently. Abroad,remote-sensing technology had been applied to the monitoring research in the 1960s,developing quickly later on. At the domestic,remote-sensing technology had developed in the field of natural resources monitoring in the 1970s.People gradually realize the importance of applying the remote sensing to the eco-environment monitoring,with the remote-sensing technology maturing and the awareness of eco-environment strengthen constantly in our country. Because of the differences of natural conditions and man-made factors, there has distinct difference in the land use / cover in the quantity, strength, structure to the different regional. In this paper,using two periods remote-sensing images from 2000 and 2007, going with the 3S technology, techniques of mathematical statistics and theory of landscape ecology to make the eco-environment dynamic monitoring and analysis of landscape pattern change in Ya'an.In this paper, it use multi-temporal remote sensing image data, to extract land use / cover information, and analyse different periods of land use / cover changes features.Quantitative analyse the land use / cover change and landscape pattern change by the landscape index. The conclusions of the study is: setting up the vecto??tabase and remote sensing image database of the land use / cover status in Ya'an in 2000 and 2007; setting up the dynamics vector database of the land use / cover change, and the land-use changes in the size of area of landscape types, mean per-year dynamic change degree from 2000 to 2007. Utilizing the data of land use / cover changes analyse the driving force of the dynamic changes. At the level of the landscape, contrast the landscape from the two periods index: The landscape made up of patch types increased in study region, the types of the patched was balanced at the landscape of the trend in the distribution; the number of small patches is increased, the degree of the connectivity of the advantage plaque is reduce, and the degree of the landscape fragmentation is rising; because of the interference of natural and man-made, the patch's shape becomes more complex; there has a downward trend in the inter-patch adjacent degree of the various types of the landscape, and bordering landscape richness is declining. These changes show that the numbers of the large patch of the landscape is reduced, diversity increased, the degree of aggregation of the patch is reducing, the heterogeneity of landscape is increasing in the study region.In this paper, it take good advantage of remote sensing to achieve the eco-environment dynamic monitoring and analysis of landscape pattern changes in Ya'an, and submitted the accord of the data and reports with the quality and the amount requirements of the project. The data obtained provides reliable information for the Sichuan Environmental Protection Bureau and local governments to know the eco-environment and land use / cover change, provides forceful reference for the overall plan of land use / cover, provides a reliable reference data for rational planning the landscape pattern; the data obtained provides great significance for the detailed investigat??of the use of land resources, setting up the database of land resources management, comprehensive evaluation of land resources, the establishment of the dynamic monitoring system of the land-use status change, timely knowing change information of the land resources.
