Offshore Oil Engineering technical is improving rapidly day by day. In deep water oil and gas field development, the traditional jacket platform and gravity platform are gradually replaced by deep water floating platform and an underwater production system. Continuous improvement shows in all types of deep water platforms, design, and construction technology. Semi-submersible drilling platform was invented after the selection of floating boat-night in the (surface-type) platform, which overcame the disadvantage of anti-wave generated of the boat floating drilling platform. It can operate in Sham waters under harsh environmental conditions as it has advanced sports properties and anti-wind performance. As development of offshore oil and gas resources in China, it is believed that deeper researches in semi-submersible platform Fin are needed in the future.Based on the South China Sea on the 2nd semi-submersible platform, the article will introduce the use of FLUENT software for anti-rolling tank cycle at laminar and turbulent cases, respectively, conducted a series of simulations, under the semi-submersible platform of information design rational anti-rolling tank. By using MOSES marine structure calculation software and the three-dimensional hydrodynamic theory, analyze the semi-submersible platform.
