| Water production of oil well is a problem that can not be avoided during oil exploitation. Water produced brings lots of problems. In order to improve water flooding efficiency and decrease water cut, layers with high permeability must be sealed. Water plugging of oil wells is an important method to enhance oil recovery. This article applies laboratory experiments, theoretical research, numerical simulation to study the factors influencing water-plugging effect in order to improve successful rate of water plugging. The plugging agent was evaluated and optimized to improve its sealing capacity and washing resistance through lab experiments. Therefore, the agent has strong plugging capacity and good washing resistance. The results of visualization experiments and plugging experiments show that gel can seal high permeability layers effectively, and its effects are even well when permeability is higher. Mathematical model of pre-and post water plugging was established according to percolation mechanics. Formation pressure before and after water plugging was compared to analysis factors influencing formation pressure after plugging. Formation pressure along radial direction is obtained under different condition. Parameters such as polymer and gel injection amount play an important role during oil field water plugging. Numerical simulation is used to optimize operation parameters and analysis various influencing factors. Operation parameters are optimized to improve water plugging successful rate including polymer concentration, polymer amount, injection rate, and so on. |
