With the development of our country's economy and our life, the significance of protection on environment and Non-Recycling Energy gets more and more realized. At the same time, the quantity of municipal organic wastes grows quickly by 20% each year in Shanghai (8.98% all over China) since 1979, and it has been over 14,000t per day. Besides, in country there are many organic wastes such as the straw, animal dejection, residua in food industry, and so on. The growth of such wastes has been a fatal problem which blocks the development of economy and environment protection. So how to make the waste be useful and cycling resource is an important issue on management in modern city and country that must be dealed with.At present, the main treating styles of waste are landfill, burning and composting. Compared with the three treating method, anaerobic fermentation has many excellences as follows: firstly, it can reduce the emission of greenhouse gas; secondly, it can reduce the consumption of Non-renewable Resources because its products (methane and hydrogen) are clean energy; thirdly, the goal of reducing of wastes gets arrived by changing the organic waste into methane or hydrogen; the anaerobic fermentation process don't need oxygen, so it can reduce the power consumption compared with the Aerobic Fermentation; many Organic Fertilizer and soil amendment can be made by this process. Anyway, anaerobic fermentation technology can make us reach the goal of"harmless, quantitative reduction and resource recovery", and it is an important issue related to environment protection and resource using.Although the anaerobic fermentation technology has been used in the treating of organic wastes for many years, but still has many problems such as low efficiency in low temperature, too long start-up time, and the wrong operation parameters and so on. These problems blocked this technology's using and make the equipment be out of using. In order to research and solve the problem, this thesis has researched the anaerobic fermentation process both on theory and experiment, then developed the performance predict model. Some of dynamics parameters that can not be got have been reached by using inherit arithmetic and L-B method. Using the mixing program technology of VB.net and Fortran, the visualizing software was developed. This mixing program method can make use of the excellence of VB.net and Fortran, in the same time overcoming the flaws existing in VB.net and Fortran. One anaerobic fermentation experiment system with one cubic meter was built in order to validate the model and further research of low-temperature research, and primarily take some experiment. Contrasting the computing results with that of the test, the model was validate to be relatively credible, it can reflect the main characteristic of the fermentation process, however, its precision is not high enough. Finally, using the software developed according to above model, some main performance index results were primarily given.
