Coal gas's consume gas balance of steel company is increasingly concerned in steel industry. Forecasting coal gas's usage and decreasing calculation error, in order to increase the coal gas's operation rate, become a significative research subject. When the error of the total generation and the total consumption is outside the error range, how to balance the total gas, regulate the production and reduce the leak, need urgent solution.Main factors effecting on gas generation and gas consumption of branch plants have been found through the detail researches on the gas-generation mechanism and the comsumption characteristics in branch plants of main process in iron-steel works. The indexes influenced by these main factors have been found in energy-balance table of iron-steel works.The thsis analyzes coal oven gas, blast-furnace gas, converter gas and various mixed gas in Jinan Iron&Steel Group ,aiming at gas' s process feature. The thsis also emphasizes on studying an effective predictive method , based on existing predictive ability of Energy Centre' s coal oven gas holder and blast-furnace gas holder, in order to actualize dynamic balance and achieve gas's maximum utilization.Taking the gas system of converter as an example, the forecast model of gas based on linear regression method is summarized. We take out a statistic expression of the callback converter gas, then, theorize a forecast model of the gas balance.The results of industrial applying indicates that the method of automatic gas balance not only resolves many problems,but also inproves the utilization ratio of gas and the information-based degree of the enterprise as well. In a word,the method has important realistic meanings.
