The coal and gas outburst is one of the most serious natural disasters in coal mine underground.Large amount of cases showed that, outburst is regional distribution. So it is very important to know the coal and gas outburst degree and forecast the coal and gas outburst area and intensity, outburst prevention measures can be more targeted,finally to prevent or reduce accidents and reduce the outburst prevention cost. Therefore it is very necessary to take scientific measures to forecast the coal and gas outburstintensity.In this paper, through the study of Dashu Cun mine gas-geology method, determined the factors that influence the coal seam gas occurrence,Dashu Cun mine gas contents was predicted by the multivariate linear regression method. At the same time, through the analysis of Dashu Cun mine and adjacent Xuecun mine prominent features,selected influential Dashu Cun mine main control factors of coal and gas outburst. On the basis of gas content and gas pressure critical value of Dashu Cun mine outburst dangerous area,combined with the main influence factors to complete the coal and gas outsburst dangerous area forecast of No.2 coal seam Dashucun mine. On the other hand selected the keyfactors of the coal and gas outburst intensity forecast by researching the law of Dashu Cun mine gas-geology regularity,coal and gas outburst characteristic and the result of coal and gas outburst area forecast such as gas contents,coal seam thickness, geological structureand and work type;then researched theartificial neural network;after that founded the forecast model of generalized regression neural network,and forecasted the coal and gas outburst intensity of Dashu Cun mine No.2 seam based on the forecast model,the current law of Dashu Cun mine gas-geology and the gas contents forecasted.coal and gas outburst and reduce the losses caused by coal and gas outburst.
