The Study On The Performance Of Honeycomb Paper-board Pallet And The Structure Analysis

Pallet package is one of the main assembled package in modern logistic,Pallet Package can keep the product safe,steady and efficient when moved. For a long time, the wooden pallets are widely used. But with the storage of nature and calling for the sustainable development, the pallets which are nature-friendly will be the most popular and lead the moving. One of the matiarials made of pallet is the honeycomb paper-board, which has a very considerable rigidity and pressure resistence. This advantage will help it to be most popular pallet.But on the other hand, it has a short history and there is little research about this pallet. Without the research, the designer will not design and control the quantities of the pallet, which is unacceptable. The reason is that the honeypcomb paper-board pallet is difficult to deal with for its deformation. So this paper concern on this issue. With the help of the finite element software, it's much easier to look into the deformate problem. This paper research on the charectores of the pallet under uniform loading and the influnce of the changes of the block to the bearing capacity:(1) Summerising the failure of the pallet and analysis the factor infuncing the pallet bearing capacity. And propose that the failure of the pallet has three facts: the corrugation of the face of honeycomb board, which is different in the two directions; the shear failure of the adhesive layer; the crushing of the block. On this basis, a design flunt was given.(2) analysing the strip honeycomb paper-board pallet with Timoshenko beam theory by simplify the pallet as an beam to get the bending charactor, and the deflexion and strength formula are given to be used in desinge the pallet.(3) For the block pallet, analysing the influence of the positon and the shape of the block, to the honeycomb pallet bearing capacity. And the trendlines of the influce are given to help desinger. To broaden the conclusion of the analysing results, the fitting was made to adjust to other situation when design a different pallet.(4) Veritify the conlusion by the honeycomb pallet stacking experiment and other experiments.The conlusion in this paper will very useful when design a honeycomb paper-board pallet.
