This article introduced that absorbing materials of nickel plating carbon fiber/epoxy resins were reviewed in structural design after carbon fiber was plated with nickel and discussed the influence of the content and arrangement spacing of nickel plating carbon fiber on absorbing properties and its absorbing mechanism. Absorbing materials of Nickel plating carbon fiber/epoxy resin was compounded with carbon/graphite, Co powder compound, discussing influence on absorbing material after the other absorbing agent's joining.Research found that after plated with nickel, the surface of carbon fiber obtained successive, shining metallic Ni. Through analysis of EDX, we learned that it was Ni-P alloy layer absorbing properties of carbon fiber was obviously improved after nickel plating.When nickel plating carbon fiber was arranged in orthogonal way, different quality score and the different spacing's carbon fiber has certain effect on absorbing properties. When spacing of carbon fiber was 5mm, absorbing performance was obviously better than the absorbing material other spacing. When quality score of carbon fiber is 1.57%- 0.56%, we can design absorbing materials of good performance. When the spacing of carbon fiber is 5mm, absorbing properties is the best,when quality score is 0.86%the maximum of absorption peaks reaches to 18.63 dB, bandwidth reaches to 4.85GHz below-10dB. Through the different quality ratio of conductive carbon /graphite, we can regulate dielectric constant of system of conductive carbon/graphite. When conductive carbon:graphite=1:1, they were compounded to epoxy resin with different quality score, after joining 0.2 g conductive carbon black/graphite, the maximum reflectance increased to-28.16 dB, effective bandwidth reached to 7.3 GHz and wave crest moved to low frequency. But when addition amount of conductive carbon /graphite system increased to 0.8 g namely quality score with 0.5%, absorbing properties instead went down. Joining magnetic metal Co powder is better at widening absorption frequencies. Nickel plating carbon fiber/epoxy resin absorbing materials is from single absorption peaks to double absorption peaks,at 7-9GHz frequency and Ku band most bands has reflex attenuation lower than 10dB. Along with the increase of quality score of Co, absorption peaks trend to move to the low frequency. At low frequencies, along with the increase of quality score of Co, the maximum absorption peaks first increases, then drop. When addition amount of Co powder is 1% of matrix, the maximum absorption peaks with 7.54 GHz reached to -13.7 dB, at Ku band, joining of Co has little impact on absorption peaks and frequency of broadband.
