The progressive cavity pump(PCP) extraction takes one emerging artificial lift method is taken seriously by the domestic and foreign oil fields.But its superiority is not to be able to display fully because of its basic theory's research is not very specially full and perfect.One specially question urgently need to solve is its short service life.Therefore, this article has analyzed quite fully between rotor and stator on mechanics characteristic, and obtained reasonable PCP design parameter from mechanics angle to blend. It has laid foundation for PCP's research on wear, life and lifting performance. and provided the reference for the PCP's manufacture.This article has used SolidWorks to model and ANSYS to simulate PCP's active status, it has carried on mechanics characteristic analysis to the PCP's model and obtained the PCP displacement, stress and shear stress distributed rule.Present analysis has generally used plane model to replace the three dimensional, This article in view of the PCP's displacement, stress and shear stress has carried on the plane model and the three dimensional model finite element contrastive analysis. The result indicated that the areal model and the three dimensional model's displacement, stress and shear stress distributed rule is different, and the identical displacement and the stress value also differ in a big way. Therefore, replaces the three-dimensional model with the plane model to carry on the analysis, although simplified the parsing process, reduced the analysis difficulty, but cannot guarantee the analysis precision, is inappropriate.This article used the above finite element analysis method study PCP's design parameter and the displacement, stress and shear stress relations, in order to improve mechanics characteristic, it has optimal PCP design parameter's blending, e=10.5mm, T=196mm.This article has carried on mechanics contrastive analysis on equal wall thickness PCP and the ordinary PCP, finally indicated that in the same situation, equal wall thickness PCP's displacements was smaller than the ordinary PCP obviously, and equal thickness PCP's stress curve flatter than ordinary PCP, and stress level was low. Therefore, equal thickness PCP will have the very good development than ordinary PCP.
