The surface driving Progressive Cavity Pump has been developed largely in the nation and abroad now because it is of obvious advantages, such as simply system, mighty compatibility, small incipient investment,, small occupation area and so on. In our country, the practice of the PC pump in oil production craft is primary stage by reason that the study of Pc pump is later and the corresponding craft technology is absent.The article introduces the development at home and abroad about the PC Pump oil production system, discussion the work of the PC Pump basic principles, characteristics, and the PCP oil production system characteristics and the scope of application. Aggregate this technology with other commonly used oil production technology compared to the characteristics. Analysis the Main Parameters what impact the PC Pump performance.In order to optimize and mastery accurately the work condition of the system, the article studied the optimization design of the PCP oil production system.The article introduce in detail the formation of the IPR curve, the analysis and calculation of the multi-phase vertical piping by Orkiszewski methods, and the optimization option of the surface equipment in theory. At last, I raised a set of methods to optimization design the PC Pump oil production system.In practice, Daqing Oilfield 9-2638 Well the reality of the PCP equipment selection, to prove this methods is effective. The article achieves the optimization design of the PCP oil production system by computer programming. Provide the administrator a simple the PC Pump oil production system design method. The administrator can administrate scientifically, conveniently the PC Pump oil production system.
