Quantitative Analysis And Forecasting Of Ecological Footprint Of Shenyang

As the oldest son of the people's republic of China, Shenyang has a splendid success in economic development. However, due to the sudden conglomeration of population, lots of ecological land is being taken by the expanding city, therefore the structure and function of the city ecosystem has undergone big change. Because we have many things unknown, such as how the city ecosystem of Shenyang is, where is the problem so on, we cannot take any measure useful.In this paper, based on the theory of city ecological sustainable development, ecological footprint demand of Shenyang, ecological footprint supply and ecological deficit or surplus are calculated using Ecological Footprint Model in order to assess the status of ecological sustainable development of Shenyang and to analyze the space distribution of ecological pressure. Compared the ecological footprint characteristics of Shenyang, Chongqing, Tangshan. To find out the status of ecological sustainable development of Shenyang for the following 10 years, the dynamic processes of ecological sustainable development in latest 10 years are analyzed and the trends of ecological footprint of Shenyang from 2007 to 2016 are forecasted. In the end, measures are proposed to to help Shenyang develop in an ecological sustainable way.The result indicates that the trends of ecological footprint of Shenyang from 1997 to 2006 is increased, from 1.4972969597 hm2 one person increased to 3.0538986714hm2 one person, 1.5566017117 hm2 has increased, sustainable development of Shenyang in this period is ecological deficit all the time. Ecological pressure is unevenly distributed in Shenyang, heaviest in urban district and lightest in Faku county, this is closely concerned with the development of economic and distance to the urban centre of Shenyang. GDP footprint, from 1.2216618966 hm2 per ten thousand yuan in 1997 reduced to 0.8527453694hm2 per ten thousand yuan in 2006. Indicates that the appeared of new technology improved the utilizing efficiency of nature resources. In order to development in an ecological sustainable way, Shenyang should take useful and applicable measures urgently, including controlling the population scale, improving the utilizing efficiency of resources, speed up to drive the development of the central city group of Liaoning, etc.
