Wetlands is closely related to human survival, reproduction and development. It is landscape ecology of the most biodiversity in nature and is one of the most important living environment. It is not only providing a wide range of resources for the production of human life, but also having tremendous environmental features and efficiency, for example in against floods, regulating runoff, flood and drought, pollution control, climate regulation, soil erosion control, and promoting land and build silt, beautify environment, it plays an important role as the"kidneys of the earth"by the worldwide attention. But with the dramatic increase in population, in order to address the expansion of agricultural land and developing the economy, the irrational exploitation and utilization of wetlands lead to the decrease of China's natural wetlands and the decline of the functionality and efficiency; fishing, hunting, logging, excavation, and other over access to biological resources, resulting in a loss of wetland biodiversity; the use of over-exploitation of water resources, leading to the water quality of alkali wetlands and the shrinking of lake; the long-term industrial and agricultural waste water, leading to water pollution of wetlands and seriously endanger the survival environment of the wetland biological; the excessive felling of forest resources, destruction of vegetation, resulting in increased soil erosion, siltation of rivers and lakes, and so on. our wetland resources has suffered serious damage and its ecological functions are severely damaged.Unreasonable use of wetland resources has resulted in a decline of natural wetland, but the natural wetlands of the purification of water quality in history has been widely used in some places, there are at least 100 years. Based on the natural wetlands of purification mechanism, but also the protection of natural wetlands in the end, the wetland sewage treatment technology in the 1950s was born in Germany. Into the 60s, the beginning of the technology used to treat industrial waste water, river water, surface runoff and sewage. At present, it has been extensive research and application in the world. This article selected sewage treatment wetlands for the main study, It provides a more comprehensive background knowledge, from the mechanism and design to the maintenance and management, from the application of research results to practice, summarized in detail, with a view to the application of the technologies in drawing, but also hopes to expand the technical knowledge and identity. The full text is divided into six parts, the first part brief introduce the background, purpose and the research methodology and framework, at home and abroad on the sewage treatment wetland type of research, artificial wetlands-related concepts and categories ; The second part, compare between the wetland biological and conventional methods and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of wetland; the third part, introduce sewage treatment wetlands profile, elaborate in detail from the construction of elements, the mechanism of purification, process, the impact and create a landscape; the fourth part is the full text of the core theory, introduce the wetland treatment system and operation management; the fifth part, analysis the typical case study, put forward their problems and solutions; the sixth part of the paper is the core part of the theory, it is the concrete practice of the application of the process in Texas City wetland water resources utilization of this project, details of the wetland's operation from analysis of the status quo, the functions, engineering analysis, cultivation techniques, water planning, interaction with the natural environment of the aesthetic design, the new eco-purification technology and plant selection and planting area; the seventh part, the full text of the summary and summarized.
