Coking wastewater is one kind of a typical refractory wastewater , which is characteristic of complicated water quality and variational water quality,including cyanide,phenol and other poisons, These characteristics make it hard to treat and the cost is too high.In this thesis, on the basis of building highly efficient multiple microorganisms, Cell Fusion technology were used to construct the fusant and treat the phenol and cyanide in coking wastewater.Eight strains with ability of phenol and Cyanide degradation were screened from the aeration tank of coking plant in the Nanchang and Xinyu steel plant. Two arbitrary strains were mixed and cultivated to build multiple microorganisms, 28 kinds of bacteria were obtained. Comprehensively considered degradation rate and flocculating capacity,a best one has been chosen and named FH-1. Treated by FH-1 and the microbial flocculant produced by FH-1, the cyanide dropped to 0.576mg/L,the phenol dropped to 10.25mg/L.On the basis of multiple microorganisms, PEG protoplast fusion technology has been used to improve the performance of FH-1.Through the inactivation of protoplast, a sTablele fusant named RH-1 was obtained.RH-1 application experiment show that treated by MBF produced by RH-1, the removal rate of cyanide and phenol is 69.75% and 73.46%. The kinetic equations of cyanide and phenol removal efficiency were:After flocculated by MBF , RH-1 has used to treated the Coking wastewater, the removal rate of cyanide and phenol is 91.03% and 98.48%.The kinetic equations of cyanide and phenol degradaton were: Treated by RH-1 and the MBF produced by RH-1, the cyanide concentration dropped from 11.610mg/L to 0.315mg/L,and the phenol concentration dropped from 331.18mg/L to 1.34mg/L. The cyanide concentration had reached the first request of iron and steel industry discharge standard(GB13456-92). The phenol concentration had reached the third request.Natural sodium bentonite has been modified by Al2(SO4)3. Coking wastewawer which had been treated by FH-1 and the MBF produced by RH-1 was treated by modified bentonite. Under these conditions:pH9.0, amount of modified benxonite 2.0g/L, stirring time 20min, the removal rate of phenol is 66.2%, the phenol concentration dropped to 0.45mg/L, had reached the first request of iron and steel industry discharge standard (GB13456-92).
