Extraction of MgO From Ni-Fe Slag by Mechanochemistry was studied in the article, analyzed the rule of acid-leaching MgO with Mechanochemistry, it adopt X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, granularity test to analyze the organizational structure, the contact surface appearance and the grain distributed situation of the slag that activated and inactivated, EDTA complexing titrate was used to to test the leaching rate of the MgO from the slag poeder. The result indicated: The Ni-Fe slag was activated by planetary with AGO-â…¡, SKF-04, XGM-2L. From the XRD analysis, the forsterite in the slag which was activated by AGO-â…¡planetary transformate iron forsterite degree much more, the quantity of dissocialize magnesia is more. From the scanning electron microscope analysis, the grain of the slag which was activated by AGO-â…¡planetary diminishes. the pellet circular degree increases, simultaneously the pellet distribution is quite scattered, the internal fracture surface changes more, the probability of contacting H+ in acid is large. From the sizing test result, after the activation, the distribution of grain diameter of powder is narrow, the particle size is small, and the grain diameter of powder which was activated by AGO-â…¡planetary is smallest. the speed of planetary have affected the degree of activation, the XGM-2Lplanetary, at speed: (170rpm, 85rpm); (250rpm, 125rpm); (350rpm, 175rpm), the slag was activated under the condition, the degree of activation of slag is highest at speed (revolution 350rpm, the rotation 175rpm), after activated, forsterite changed into Mg-Fe olivine (Mg1.86Fe0.14) (SiO4), the grain of the slag diminished. The pellet circular degree increases, the angular was less, and some gathered into irregular aggregates, under this condition, the grain diameter of powder is smallest.The result of the leaching rate of MgO indicated: the slag that is activated by AGO-â…¡planetary, its magnesia's leaching rate is highest, and under the room temperature condition, its magnesia's leaching rate is 30%,the inactivates slag, its magnesia's leaching rate is 6.9% merely. In the rotational speed experiment, under the condition (revolution 350rpm, rotation 175rpm) and (revolution 250rpm, rotation 125rpm), the difference of the leaching rate of MgO is small, indicated that under the condition (revolution 250rpm, rotation 125rpm), the slag was already activated completely.
