Using fatty acid methyl ester as the raw materials to produce fatty acid methyl ester sulfonate (MES) to instead of linear alkyl benzene sulfonate which is used in the detergent powder,becoming a new hotspot. More domestic research is transesterification of fatty acid methyl ester preparation,generally under the atmospheric pressure, but continuous esterification of fatty acid methyl ester synthesis under pressure has not been reported.This article is about that fatty acid methyl ester was synthesized continuously in a tubular fixed-bed reactor with catalyst produced by researchers,which makes the production process easily,the major research as follows:1.The methanol and oleic acid were direct esterification using two different catalysts. Increasing the pressure on the reactant which is under the catalyst C1,the optional esterification process conditions are temperature 100℃,pressure 0.35Mpa,reaction time 2h,the mole ratio of methanol to oleic acid 3:1. In other catalyst C2, the optional esterification process conditions are temperature 100℃,pressure 0.35Mpa,reaction time 2h,the mole ratio of methanol to oleic acid 2:1.Under such conditions,the conversion can achieve 93.21% in single-stage. Compared with the traditional process,this technique significantly reduce the amount of the methanol, solid catalyst also don't generat the generation of waste, shorten the reaction time has also reduced energy consumption. The macrokinietic equation for the esterification was established base on the least square method and experiment data. The results show that the experiment data appear to be fit to a second-order kinetiic equation.2.The best reaction conditions of palmitic acid methyl ester are temperature 100℃,pressure 0.35MPa ,reactor time 2h,the mole ratio of methanol to palmitic acid 2:1, which is same to the methyl oleate reaction conditions. Further optimized by orthogonal experiments, order the synthesis of palmitic acid methyl ester factors: alcohol molar ratio of oil is greater than the reaction time, the reaction time is greater than the reaction temperature.At the best response to the above-mentioned conditions, synthesis the palm kernel oil fatty acids, the conversion rate more than 94.5%.3.In order to foundation for the realization of industrialization, this article on the follow-up to deal with fatty acid methyl ester synthesis and methanol distillation simulation using ASPEN PLUS software, two esterification and methanol distillation have greater practical significance.
