With the development of technology and science,Machine manufacturing gives a higher request to the quality of product.But if you give a vertical look to the use of domestic numerical control tools,you can know that quite a number of numerical control tools makes less use of,and their efficiencies are not bring into full play.The main factor of these phenomena is that they are have not network function,so part programs designers and experts of machine maintenance cannot get operating information in time.It is a effectual way to improve numerical controls efficiency by designing a remote control system which can make Numerical control tools a part of network resources.The project of this thesis is supported by"high speed Turn-milling technology on large-scale complicated revolving body surface",aims to study and design a online remote control system on Numerical control tools.This paper gives a detail research to XS6380 upright numeral control milling machine of numerical control belonged to Engineering Technology Center for High Speed Machining.It uses RS-232C series interface as a communication interface.We use VC++6.0 as a development tool,and give some research as fellows:(1) The communication of local server computer and NUM1020 CNC is researched:RS-232C series interface is used as communication breakthrough,RS-232C's pins definition,numerical control system configuration,the connection mode between CNC and PC,format of numerical control program,communication parameter definition,communication mode,and stream transfer protocol definition are lucubrated.The communication between CNC and local server PC is made true.(2) The research of building Computer net,realizing the net communication between local server PC and remote client PC at maincontrol room is done.Include:firstly,Web topology,juncture mode and communication protocol are chosen.Large NC programs and control parameters are transferred from remote PC to local server computer,then are transferred to CNC s memory automatically in the form of text file.NC program and control parameters are loaded through long-distance and are transferred by internet/intranet;secondly, real-time state information acquired from NC can be displayed on remote client.(3) Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 based on Windows is used as development tool. User interface,serial communication and network communication are designed,online remote control system on NC is developed.
