ZnSe is an important wide band gapⅡ-Ⅵsemiconductor material. ZnSe has received considerable attention due to its promising applications in blue-green semiconductor laser,light-emitting diode and other optoelectronic devices. In this paper, ZnSe nanopowders were prepared by two steps method of water bath and hydrothermal method;ZnSe/MAA nanocomposite was prepared in acidic condition;Using ZnSe nanopowders prepared by two steps method as core,ZnSe/ZnS nanocomposite was prepared by refluxing. The concrete works are listed below:1. Using Zn(NO3)2·6H2O,Se,KBH4 as raw maerials,NaOH as mineralization,ZnSe powders were prepared by two steps method. Se dissolved in KBH4 aqueous solution as a source material at 60℃by water bath method, light yellow solution was prepared after adding ZnNO3,NaOH aquous solution. ZnSe powders of different sizes were prepared at different hydrothermal temperature and hydrothermal time.XRD,TEM,UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer were used to characterize the structure,morphology and absortion spectra. The powders were zinc blende structure. Sufficient NaOH was necessary to prepared pure ZnSe.the size of ZnSe powders was 34 ran by water bath method,and then increased at different hydrothermal condtions. The absorption edge also shifted to different energies.2. Using Zn(NO3)2·6H2O,Se,KBH4 as raw materials, MAA as capped material. ZnSe/MAA nanocomposite was prepared by two steps method in acidic condition. ZnSe/MAA nanocoposite can be conserved more than 7 days. ZnSe nanopowders were capped by MAA after tested by XRD,TEM,UV-VIS-NIR spectrometer. The average size of ZnSe nanopowders was about 4nm.3. Using ZnSe nanopowders prepared by two steps method as core,NaOH as mineralization,thiourea and Zn(NO3)2·6H2O were used to prepare ZnS. ZnSe/ZnS nanocomposite was prepared by 80℃re fluxing. ZnSe nanopowders were capped by ZnS after testing by XRD,TEM,UV-VIS-NIR spectra and photoluminescence spectra(PL).The configuration of ZnS were amorphous ZnS and ZnS nanocrystal. The average thickness of ZnS was about 5nm.The optical character of ZnSe was improved.
