Coal spontaneous combustion in goaf areas is one of the major calamities in caol mine,which seriously influences safety production of mine.It is important for fire prevention and extinguishing to determining dangerous area threaten by spontaneous combustion and forecasting distribution of temperature spots when spontaneous combustion occur.Used research method combined theoretical analysis,experimental study,experimental study with numerical simulation analysis,this paper did a series of researches on spontaneous combustion law in goaf areas which took advantage of Y-type ventilation mining technology. The characteristics of Y-type ventilation mining goaf spontaneous combustion were summarized through analysis on factors influencing coal spontaneous combustion.Experimental study was carried out based coal samples collected in coal mine.Based on industrial analysis and spontaneous combustion tendency analysis,the tendency of spontaneous combustion of coal was detemined.CO and C2H4 was selected as indicator gas to forcast spontaneous combustion after coal samples programmed heating oxidation experiments been carried out.Through analysis on characteristics of falling rock in the Y-type ventilation mining goaf, goaf porosity and distribution of air leakage resistance were got;Goaf physical model was established.Distribution of air leakage and temperature field were simulated by the Fluent software;distribution of tri-zone of coal spontaneous combustion in goaf were achieved. Through multiple releasing tracer gas on GuQiao 1115 (1) mining face, the air leakage distribution law in goaf areas of Y-type ventilation was confirmed.Through arrangement of thermocouple and tube in GuQiao mine 1115 (1) face,temperature changes and gas concentration changes in goaf area were monitored;"three zones"of coal spontaneous combustion in goaf was determined.The study of this aper was helpful to guide to prevent spontaneous combustion in Y-type ventilation goaf area.
