Porphyrin is a general term of the homologue and derivative of porphyrin with substituting groups at the outside ring. When two portons at inside ring are displaced by the metal ion, metalloporphyrins is made up. Since the porphyrin and its metal complexes have a special structure and properties, they play an important role in analytical chemistry, functional materials, molecule identification and photo-electron conversions fields.Cooperating with previous work in our workshop, the mechanism of interface electron-transfer and Anion Recognition were studied by different porphyrin modified electrode. In order to investigate and reveal the electron and ion transfer in organism, metalloporphyrins were applied in Liquid/Liquid interface and stimulate the basic model of biologic membrane. A series of different substituent with porphyrins and metalloporphyrins were synthesized.The paper is consisted with three paragraphs, the main contents as follow: Chapter I: IntroductionA systematic review was given on synthesis characterization and their application of porphyrin and metalloporphyrins.Chapter II: Study on synthesis and spectral properties of a series of porphyrin with different substituentSeries of hydroxyl-phenylporphyrins, different carbon chain length of thiol-derivatized-phenylporphyrins, nitro-phenylporphyrins and its reductive porduct amino-phenyl-porphyrin were synthesized. Their structures have been demonstrated by Uv-Vis, IR and 1HNMR. Meantime, the influences of their spectral and electrochemical properties were discussed.Chapter III: Study on synthesis and spectral properties of metalloporphyrinDifferent substituent with zinc porphyrins and iron porphyrins were prepared by Alder method, and N-confused porphyrin was also attempted to be prepared. Their structures have been demonstrated by Uv-Vis, IR and electrochemical behavior. Meantime, the influences of their spectral and electrochemical properties were discussed.
