The base role of machinery industry appears more and more obviously in the national economy as our country becomes the manufacturing center of the world. The technology level of hydraulic press impacts directly on the development of machinery industry, Quick Forging Hydraulic Press is an important type of hydraulic presses, to hold independent design technology of Fast Hydraulic Press is the guarantee for a country to win machinery industry competition in the world and studying on it has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, the design of the main structure of a 45MN Fast Forging Hydraulic Press is completed, and the research on it is conducted with Pro/E, the 3D modeling software, and the ANSYS, the FEM analytical software. First, the technical parameters of the press are put forward and the designing and analysis of the key parts are finished using the theory of hydraulic press. Based on this, fully considering the status of working, the main cylinder is carefully analyzed with FEM and structural optimization on it is carried out. The structural design of fast forging hydraulic press piston contact with moving beam and reback structure is worked out simply. Then the structure design, finite element calculation and analysis on the overall structure of the frame are conducted, during which the analysis of stress concentration on the structure, the mending of the structure are particularly focused, and the strength and stiffness satisfied structure is obtained. At last modal analysis of the frame is tried out and the natural vibration frequencies and vibration amplitudes of different order modes is got, this provides basic data for the dynamic design of the hydraulic press.The research works can be refferenced in future technical design and manufacturing of 45MN Fast Forging Hydraulic Press.
