Analysis Of The Current Situation Of The Layout Of China's Wetlands Nature Reserve

Based on the data and the type classification of wetland resources in《the first national survey of wetland resources in the overall report (2003)》, the wetland nature reserves in our country were divided into 5 categories and 28 sub-categories in this paper.First, combined with the distribution of wetland resources, the area of wetlands nature reserves and the number distribution (national, provincial and municipal level) in the provinces and autonomous regions were analysed by statistical analysis.Second, based on the platform of geographic information system, the ArcGIS (V9.2) software was used to overlay the map of the layout of China's wetland reserves and the map of the distribute of wetlands resources and the distribution map of wetland Nature Reserves in china and the distribution map of six kinds of wetland birds for spatial analysis, then the spatial distribution of wetland reserves and existing problems was analysed.Main conclusions are as follows:(1) The distribution of 5 different types of wetland Nature Reserves are different. Marshes Nature Reserve, the type of the largest area of wetland Nature Reserve, accounting for 64% of area of wetland Nature Reserves; followed by the type of rivers, lakes and reservoir.(2) The number of wetland nature reserves and the area of distribution have different characteristics in each province. Marine coastal types are mainly distributed in Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Hainan.Guangdong Province, the number of which the largest;the largest area in Shandong Province; swamp types are mainly distributed in Heilongjiang, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, and state-level large area; river types mainly distributed in Heilongjiang, Sichuan and other provinces, municipalities larger at the county level; lake types are mainly distributed in Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Yunnan, larger national and provincial level; Treasury Department Tong type only National Nature Reserve.(3) Protection vacancy of the construction of state-level wetland nature reserves was existed in China's major distribution provinces of wetland resources (municipality).
