The Symbols Of The Apparel Style And Its Communication

We live in a world full of symbols, different materials constitute different symbols which can spread information in our lives. Clothing is a symbol and plays an important role in our lives. The apparel style is the whole characteristics which the clothing reflects, moreover it can reflect the characteristics of the times, history and culture, it can reflect the identity, occupation, character, aesthetic and other information. as a simbol, the apparel style can conveys a lot of meannings, and has a variety of symbolic significance in people's lives. The apparel style is a unique symbol. This paper discusses this kind of symbol, through the point of semitics and communication, this paper explains the system of the apparel style, analyzes the social factors of this phenomenon, and explores the communication of the apparel style initially.In the first chapter, the introduction describes the research background, the methods of the research, as well as the significance of its contents. The second chapter analyzes the development of the semiotics and the apparel style. Through the point of semiotics, the third chapter explains the system of the apparel style, and how the symbol convey the meanings. Focusing on the apparel style, the fourth chapter stresses the social factors of the phenomenon. Through the point of communication, chapter V studies the communication of the apparel style, its spreading mode, the main methods of its communication and the effectiveness of its communication .Following the studies of the apparel styles in its social symbolic meanings and communication, referring to the law and significance of the symbol and development of the apparel style, this discussions lead people to form a holistic understanding and mastery of this kind of symbol during social practice especially in the social communication. It shall be of immense contribution to the establishment of one's social identity as well as to success. The study has not formed an authoritative theoretical system presently. So this paper is expected to launch a new acadmic perspective toward clothing. We hope the related research will be in the ascendant.
