Heat setting machine is a kind of equipment for fiber plastics and drying, finished by heat treatment to improve the strength, shape stability, and dryness and so on. They have a wide range of applications in the paper, non-woven, textile printing and dyeing, leather and other industries. Dryer heat setting machine is the most common one. The traditional heating method are steam dryer, heat-conducting oil, or electric wire, which have many defects, such as low energy efficiency, big equipment investment, environmental pollution, frequent accidents and low heating temperature. Thus, it is a trend to develop new more efficient heating methods."Induction heating" has high thermal efficiency, heating uniformity, safety and environmental protection features. To apply the "induction heating" technology heat-setting process and to develop electromagnetic heat setting machine equipment, it has not yet relevant technology research in the country currently. The entire system is consisted of the electromagnetic induction heating system, eddy current location and fault diagnosis systems, and synchronous system, including the processing technology, circuit systems, and software control system design, in which, induction heating system and synchronization system were improved on the basis of the original control system. Basing on the eddy current displacement sensor, for the first time it developed eddy current location and fault diagnosis system that used high-power incentive to achieve a large range of measuring distance.This set of electromagnetic heat setting machine has been used in practical industrial processes and achieved good social and economic benefits, and has wide application value and application prospect.
