The specific capacitance of the Re- aluminum electric capacitor is determined by the content of the cube texture. And the high content of the cube texture depends on the preparation technology. In this study the preparation technology of the Re- aluminum foil is researched in order to obtain the high content of the cube texture.In this study the Re- aluminum foil is made by respectively incorporated the minimum and maximum content of Ce, canceled the intermediate annealing and optimized by annealing, hot rolling, cold rolling, and recrystallization annealing, and finally the aluminum foil is made into 0.11mm thick. Then the microstructure and the texture of the re-aluminum foil and the high purity aluminum foil after rolling and recrystallization annealing is analyzed by means of Axiovert 25 metallographic microscope, the CHANNEL-5 EBSD system of the QUANTA400 environmental scanning electronic microscope by the HKL company in Denmark and the X-ray diffraction instrument in University of Science and Technology Beijing. And also study the hardness by means of Germany Leica microdurometer. Through studying the influence of microstructure, hardness and the texture of the aluminum foil at different content rare earth, different annealing temperature and different time, we formulate the technology that is advantageous to increase the cube texture of rare earth aluminum foil.The results show that when the content of Ce keeps between 10~100ppm, it can refine the grains after recrystallization annealing and improve the occupancy rate of cube texture. The high occupancy rate of cube texture can be obtained by high temperature recrystallization annealing. In this study we obtain that the Re aluminum foil which contains Ce 0.0048% has the highest content of the cube texture when deformation rate is 96.3%, the temperature of recrystallization annealing is 530℃and 10min .
