Dust and static electricity were important to production of precesion products. In order to control dust and static electricity in clean room, cleanness performance and anti-static performace of clean room garment must be noticed. China clean room garment industry fell behind that of developed country, and cleanness performance and anti-static performance could not meet requirements of high-class clean room because there was no a compellent national cleanroom garment standards and related test methods and instruments. It could standardize production of clean room garments, promot companies to grow healthly and sustainably, break international monopolization, win more survival space to build a suitable national clean room garments standard.History, application, standard, design, test and maintenance of the clean room were introduced. Application and performance requirements of clean room garments were summarized. On base of studying different test methods and standards, advantages and disadvantage of them were analyzed, including filtration efficiency test, mean flow pole test, sizing and counting particulate contaminant test, helmke drum test, body box test of testing cleanness performance and electrostatic voltage test, half-life test and resistance test of testing anti-static performance.The filtration efficiency test was an important method of testing cleanness preformance. Because different countries and organizations used different test instruments and test conditions, there was no comparability of different results. Different test instruments and test conditions were compared, and experiment was carrid out according relevant test parameters. Influences of test parameter on test results were analyzed and optimized parameters were given. There were many test methods for anti-static performance of clean room garment, and different test methods emphersized on different aspects of anti-static performance. Results must be used comprehensively to estimate anti-static performances of clean room garment because of differences among test results. Reproducibility, suitability and accuracy of different static test methods were analyzed through experiments, and different methods were also compared to estimate anti-static performaces of samples.Concept of clean room garment system was given. A clean room garment system contains all clothes and costumes of workers when they were in clean room, which prevent dusts from body diffusing into clean room, such as headgear, mask, glove, coat, shoe and shoe cover. Clean room garment standard system was given relative to clean room garment system too, which contains field of application, interrelated standard, glossary, guideline, classification, maintenance, test method, etc.
