For the main component of oil and oil products is hydrocarbon, they are normally verypoor conductors of electricity. The conductivity properties of fuel oil became worse afterdesulfurization and denitrogenation. Hydrocarbon fuels, such as gasoline, diesel oil andkerosene, because of its high resistivity, are especially easier to produce and accumulateelectrical charges in the process of oil production, transformation and utilization. If there is fuelgas, electrical charges can result to fire and explosion, causing economic losses and casualties.Adding anti-static additives can raise the electrical conductivity of the fuel, which is the mainand the most convenient static electricity protective method. Polyamines were synthesized withdifferent primary amine, epichlorohydrin and sodium hydrate as anti-static additive for fuel inthis thesis. The conductivity improving performance and the synergistic effect withpolusulfone of the different types of polyamine were studied in depth. The nitrogen contentand the molecular weight of products were measured, as well as the infra-red spectrogram.Moreover, the products antistatic mechanism and synergistic mechanism with polysulfonewere discussed.A polyamine was synthesized with primary amine, epichlorohydrin and sodium hydrate.The effects of reaction conditions including the ratio of material, solvent and reaction time onthe nitrogen content, the molecular weight and the performance of the product wereinvestigated. The result showed that the products cooperated with polysulfone best when themol ratio of primary amine, epichlorohydrin and sodium hydrate was1:2:2, usingdimethylbenzene as solvent and reaction time were8h. When the dosage of polyamine andpolysulfone was2mg·L-1, the conductivity of diesel fuel could be raised from5pS·m-1to340pS·m-1, and up to988pS·m-1after15days. The conductivity of diesel fuel decreasedslowly after20days. Hydroxy, N-H and long-chain alkyl stretching vibration absorptionpeaks in the IR spectrum of the product significantly. Moreover, the degree of polymerizationof the product with a high tertiary amine value is high. The effects of structure, amine value and molecular weight of the products synthetizedby different primary amines on the performance of product were investigated. The resultshowed that the antistatic property of the chain polyamine was best. The conductivity ofdiesel fuel could be raised to487pS·m-1, and up to2000pS·m-1after7days when the dosageof n-butylamine polyamine and polysulfone was2.0mg·L-1. Hydroxy, and N-H stretchingvibration absorption peaks in the IR spectrum of the product significantly. But the stretchingvibration absorption peaks of long-chain alkyl were small. The effects of dosage of polyamineand polysulfone on the performance were investigated. The results showed that theconductivity of diesel fuel could be raised to404pS·m-1when the dosage of polysulfone andpolyamine synthetized by tetradecyl amine was0.5mg·L-1. And the conductivity of diesel fuelcould be raised to2000pS·m-1when the dosage was2.0mg·L-1.The effects of starting amine mixed by different primary amines on the performance ofproduct were investigated. The result showed that when the mol ratio of stearyl amine todiethylene triamine was25:1, the conductivity of diesel fuel could be raised from5pS·m-1to513pS·m-1when the dosage of polyamine and polysulfone was2mg·L-1, and up to2000pS·m-1after6days. The conductivity of hydrotreated diesel fuel decreased slowly afterstoring20days. Hydroxy, and N-H stretching vibration absorption peaks in the IR spectrum ofthe product significantly. The effects of dosage of polyamine and polysulfone on theperformance were investigated. The results showed that the conductivity of diesel fuel couldbe raised to438pS·m-1when the dosage of polysulfone and polyamine synthetized by stearylamine and diethylene triamine was0.8mg·L-1. And the conductivity of diesel fuel could beraised to2000pS·m-1when the dosage was2.0mg·L-1.
